AppFrame Shell will be a simple Plugin Management System for the Woltlab Community Framework.

Plugin Management System? What’s that?

Well, the Woltlab Community Framework (WCF) can be extended by plugins. Normally these plugins are displayed within a WCF Application, like the burning board. But wouldn’t it be great to have them as separate web applications?

So consider the Custom Page  extension. With this plugin you can add static pages to your WCF applications. Now AppFrame Shell can use the Custom Page plugin to create a lightweight website.
